The Cumberland Housing Group is seeking a skilled candidate for the position of Compliance Coordinator/Executive Assistant. The Cumberland Housing Group consists of a government agency, two nonprofit agencies and several LLC’s and LP’s operating more than a dozen programs within Allegany County. The position will prepare agency policy and procedures as well as provide monitoring of various government agency compliance and formulate action plans to assure our operations are conducted in accordance with regulations. Previous experience as a Risk Manager, HR Manager, policy writer, hands on technical monitoring or other related experience is required. The position will perform other specially assigned projects which are outside of the daily duties of existing staff.
The Position works Monday thru Friday, 8:00 – 4:00. Starting salary will be commensurate with the selected candidate’s education and experience. Performance will be evaluated at the 1, 3, and 6-month employment periods to determine work ethics, work quality and quantity, and operational knowledge. Grade promotions are possible based upon demonstrated traits.
